Job Description
Our client is an affiliate financial institution of a well known State owned bank. They are currently looking for a established IT professional who possess extensive experience from bank / financial institution to join them as their IT Team Head.
Responsibilities:
- Oversee and manage the operations of IT department
- Plan and drive technology initiatives and address the business needs
- Lead the application development vendor and provide professional support to address the business needs.
- Ensure the compliance of all internal IT systems
- Keep abreast with the market latest technology and system solutions and apply to the the institution to cope with future business needs
- Overall management of software related matters and respective strategies
- Lead IT department to provide solutions and collaborate with all relevant stakeholders to ensure smooth implementation of technology projects
- Perform ad-hoc assignments as required
- Degree holder in computer science or information engineering related disciplines
- Over 8 years of solid experience in banking IT & Fintech
- Familiar with core banking system/software such as MPFPro, SARS, CCASS, iCSS, etc
- Strong communication, analytical, and people management skills
- Fluent in both written and spoken English and Chinese, Putonghua is a must
- Proficient in MS Office and Chinese typing and word processing, including traditional or simplified Chinese would be an advantage.
