Job Description
We are looking for a Legal Manager of Legal and Compliance Department for a Chinese Bank.
Responsibilities:
- Assist to provide legal advice and support to all business and operation units
- Assist to develop and implement policies/procedures to mitigate legal risks
- Conduct trainings and provide updates on legal issues
- Prepare reports to management and head office
- Liaise external counsel on outsourced assignments
- Handle claims and litigations of the bank and follow up court orders and enquiries from external parties
Requirements
- University graduate in Law or related discipline
- Minimum 3 years experience in banks/financial institutions
- Familiar with legal and regulatory requirements
- Detailed-minded with good organization, interpersonal and communication skills
- Proficient in PC skills including Microsoft Word, Excel and Power Point
- Good command of both written and spoken English, Cantonese and Mandarin
- Candidate with less working experience will consider the role of Assistant Manager
