Job Description
- Build, implement or maintain procedures to governing the operation of settlement, reconciliations and documentation services for Private Equity, Secondary Market funds and equities
- Supporting new business, new product launch, defining correspondent operation model
- Re-engineering workflow, procedures to achieve Operation excellent and develop innovative solutions
- Perform competitor service gap analysis, propose and develop customer experience improvement plan for management decision
- Advise on operational risks and control matters, recommend appropriate enhancement and monitor implementation status of action plan(s)
- Serves as the liaison between the Bank and respective counterparts on Treasury matters
- Participating all operation related projects for system implementation and enhancement
- Providing direction and solution for operation issues escalated, ensuring the smoothness of daily operation
- Coordinating with Sales, Product Managers, Fund Administrators, Transfer Agents, Legal Counsels, Fund Accountants and other related parties to set up operation procedures, resolve issues
- Monitor Treasury Operations and settlement functions, perform discrepancy review, resolving breaks and exceptions
- Managing team performance, providing coaching to team members
- Manage and perform system UAT testing, deployment process and enhancement
- Degree holder in Finance, Accounting or related discipline
- Minimum of 5 years relevant experience
- Prior exposure to Private Equity or Secondary Market funds is an advantage
- Good command of the use of Excel, Word, PowerPoint and operation systems
- Excellent communication skills – Cantonese, Mandarin and English
- Independent, pro-active, attentive to details, self-motivated, outspoken, keen to learn, able to adapt in new challenges
