The Job:

• Work with Senior Manager to analyse and manage our portfolio of Alternative assets including manager relationships, manager reviews, performance analysis, cashflow management, contracts management and portfolio rebalancing.
• Liaise with counterparties, legal advisors, operations, external managers and internal stakeholders to negotiate and draft contracts and agreements.
• Provide regular investment portfolio analysis and reporting.
• Review results of investment performance/return calculations for accuracy and analyze performance attribution.
• Act as the contact point for portfolio allocations and structuring with outsourced managers.
• Provide fund analysis and respond to ad-hoc requests for information/research from internal and external clients.

The Person:

• University graduates in business discipline or majored in Finance.
• At least 5 years experience with equities and fixed income product, ideally from an investment management setting though we would also consider front/middle-office markets professionals with relevant experience.
• Solid investment knowledge and understanding of investment portfolio management principles and demonstrable interest in learning more (e.g. further study, own investments, etc.).

•  Highly numerate with the ability to communicate analysis with individuals from a variety of disciplines.
• Team player with high attention to detail and ability to work under pressure.
• Self-motivated and able to multitask, prioritize, cope with competing demands, and think outside the box.
• Proficient computer, administrative, and presentation skills.
• Fluent English and Cantonese.
• Other professional designation such as CFA or an actuarial discipline is a plus.

• Familiarity with MS Office suite and ideally Bloomberg. Knowledge of VBA and Python is a plus.
