Job Description
Operations
- Ensure that the facilities in the locker area are in good working order, well maintained and switched on for use during the designated spa operation times.
- Assure all guest supplies and amenities are 100% properly stocked and available in the spa at all times.
- Record daily linen counts and ensure that an accurate record is kept at all times
- Remove all dirty linen and replenish with fresh linen
- Assure towels and linens are available and properly stocked in the spa treatment rooms and locker areas
- To understand and be able to activate the facilities in the male and female changing areas
- Ensure thorough communication with therapists and reception to ensure the guests treatments begin within 5 minutes of scheduled time
- To ensure that all facilities are hygienically cleaned at all times including all heat facilities
- Assist in the turn around of all dirty treatment rooms to being clean and re-set according to set standards within ten minutes of them being vacated.
- Remove any used dirty cups/glasses and replenish with clean ones
- Ensure that all tea light candles are on and fresh aroma can be detected at all times
- Ensure that all beverages are replenished at all times and attractively presented
- Replace linen on relaxation beds after each guest use
- Replenish all guest amenities in each spa treatment room and locker areas
- Maintain the cleanliness of the whole spa area at all times
Guest Contact
- Greet all guests with a smile, eye contact and welcome within 30 seconds of their arrival in the spa area.
- Explain and assist in the usage of the locker to guests
- To be able to explain the features and benefits of the facilities in the male and female changing areas
- Pro-actively and creatively solve problems as they are identified and while the guest is still in the spa area. Inform your supervisor/ manager in all cases of guest dissatisfaction or problems.
General Conduct
- Appear well-groomed, wearing complete uniform with correct tag in accordance with standards outlined in the Employee Handbook
- In the event of sickness report to supervisor with a minimum of two hours in advance notice
- Set the example for peers and co-workers to display a positive, enthusiastic attitude in all situations within the hotel property at all times.
- Always smile and greet property employees throughout the hotel in a friendly fashion
- Communication between guests, peers, and management will be mature and professional at all times in accordance with the spa environment.
- Adhere to all property policies and regulations.
- Perform all other duties as reasonably directed by Spa Management and Hotel Management
