- Assist the Project Building Services Engineer/Manager in all aspects of supervision of building services work on side within the contracts and the maintenance of site records;
- Assist in the administration and control of Assistant Building Services Inspector and Works Supervisory grade staff;
- Monitor labour resources, progress, materials and equipment used on site;
- Liaise, co-ordinate and solve minor disputes/conflicts with and amongst various contractors, utility companies, client and government departments on site matters;
- Assist in the site survey of existing building services installations during the construction stage, including submission of proposals for additional, alteration or repair works;
- Ensure the correct materials and equipment are delivered to site by contractors and that only those approved materials and equipment are installed;
- Assist in the checking of any site measurements of building services works and monitor the progress of building services installation works and defect rectification works;
- Inspect and witness the testing and commissioning of building services installations;
- Assist the Project Building Services Engineer in the checking of building services operation and maintenance manuals and as-fitted drawings submitted by various contractors;
- To carry out other duties ad hoc projects as assigned by the Building Services Engineer / Manager.
- Diploma or above with major in Electrical, Mechanical or Building Services Engineering or related disciplines;
- Minimum 10 years or above post-qualification construction site experience in Building Services field or equivalent, preferably with work experience for property developers;
- Registered Grade A0 Electrical Worker or above is an advantage;
- Holder of certificate in construction safety supervisor is preferable;
- Able to work under pressure, multi-tasking and work independently;
- Good initiative, strong communication and interpersonal skills;
- Good command of written and spoken English and Chinese;
- Good in MS Office such as Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint.
