We aim at delivering technical consultancy to developers, financiers, governments, councils and other relevant bodies on the development of low-carbon, climate change and sustainability solutions in the East Asia region from front end project development to project planning and design.

Responsibilities:

• Manage and lead geospatial and smart city related projects, such as 3D digital map production, positioning infrastructure, GIS database platform and urban applications development
• Harness Geo-Information and GIS technologies to support project and business development
• Manage project team and project progress, and liaise with all team members and relevant internal and external parties of the project to accomplish all deliverables
• Work closely with various subject matter specialists and domain experts on implementation and management of different smart city strategies and applications
• Be the interface coordinator with clients from both public and private sectors, technology suppliers and other utilities
• Occasional business travel as and when required

Qualifications & Experience required:

• Degree in Geomatics, Surveying, Geographic Information System, Geospatial Science, Urban Informatics, Electronic Engineering, IT Engineering or related disciplines
• At least 8 years of experience in consultancy or service projects in relation geographic data creation, GIS applications programming, wayfinding and navigation application, database administration, sensors and Internet of things (IoT) integration and application, 2D/3D map production, big data analytics and machine learning or equivalent
• Corporate member of relevant professional institution(s)
• Relevant knowledge of enterprise-wide information service systems, including geographic and meta data standards, geographic data analysis and techniques, GIS software operations, system architecture and programming languages
• Passionate in developing a future smart city enabled by technology is a key requirement
• Excellent interpersonal skills and very strong communication skills across different disciplines
• Strong research and organizational skills, able to set priority and be multi-tasking
• Proficiency in both written and spoken English and Chinese

Candidates with less experience will be considered for the position of Project Consultant or Consultant.
