Job Description

Job Duties:

  • A highly motivated individual to join the commercial department working with quantity surveying team and project management team;
  • Identify risks and compensation events; prepare submissions of notifications and assessment of risks and compensation events;
  • Prepare procedures for subletting and procurement and assist on selection of sub-contractors and suppliers;
  • Assist on settlement of final accounts.

Job Requirements:

  • Bachelor degree in Quantity Surveying or Structural Engineering or Civil Engineering or equivalent, and;
  • Minimum 15 years of relevant experience in QS including at least 8 years on NEC contract management, or
  • Minimum 10 years of relevant experience in QS with professional qualification including at least 8 years on NEC contract management, or;
  • Minimum 15 years of relevant experience in project management with professional qualification including at least 8 years on NEC contract management, and;
  • Member of HKIS / RICS / ICES / HKIE / ICE or equivalent, and;
  • Demonstrable experience and significant knowledge of the NEC Contract, i.e. not less than 8 years on NEC contract management for Hong Kong projects, in particular, handling of risks and compensation events, and;
  • A wealth of experience in procurement and contract strategy within Hong Kong, and with experience drawn from a background in civil engineering, contract management, infrastructure procurement or quantity surveying, and;
  • A great communicator, adept at delivering high level presentations in technical disciplines.
