Job Description
The Job :
- Achieve the tender costs are accurate and competitive by pricing the bills of quantities through building up rates from subcontractors and suppliers.
- Facilitate cost control and review by ensuring the correctness of the construction cost breakdown and provide cost data information for the use of future tenders.
- Assist to ensure all tenders are accurately and timely prepared by checking the bills of quantities price.
- Enhance subordinate's pricing technique by giving proper guidance and on-the-job training to the subordinates.
- Assist the Supervisor in ensuring that all construction works are sublet and materials are purchased at the right time and price by reviewing quotation and bargaining with subcontractors and suppliers.
The Requirements:
- Degree holder in QS or related construction discipline and preferably a member of relevant professional institution
- Minimum 8 years’ post-qualification experience in estimating and procurement and previous exposure in QS / subletting work is preferred.
- Good team player with good leadership, excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Good command of both spoken and written English and Chinese
- Proficiency in MS Office application
