Job Description
Due to the rapid expansion of our consultancy services in Hong Kong, we are now seeking for suitable applicant to fill up the following vacancy in Vigers Building Consultancy Limited:
(1) Building Surveyor / Assistant Building Surveyor
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, project management and contract administration of building refurbishment;
- Heritage buildings inspections and preparation of survey reports;
- Preparation of statutory submissions to Building Department;
- Undertaking condition surveys and executing defects diagnosis.
Requirements:
- Degree, Associate Degree or Higher Diploma in Building Surveying / Architectural Studies / Building or equivalent;
- Preferably with 1 year working experience in Building Contractor or Building Consultancy firms;
- Familiar with building ordinances;
- Training will be provided to candidates enrolling for HKIS practical task training / examination;
- Mature with good communication and negotiation skills.
Key Responsibilities:
- Carry out FLAT TO FLAT inspection to buildings and premises within HIGH END private residential estates and courts; such inspections and surveys are to be conducted inside vacant flats; identify defects and faulty installations;
- Conduct survey & inspection to common areas;
- Prepare defect lists with photographs;
- Supervise building contractors on defect rectification works including making and maintaining site records; reporting upon completion of works;
- Monitor the progress of rectification works to meet agreed programme.
Requirements:
- Holder of Certificate from a Hong Kong Polytechnic I Polytechnic University I Technical Institute in Building Studies I Civil Engineering I Structural Engineering or equivalent with relevant working experiences in building maintenance; and
- Qualification of Level 2 or above in Chinese Language and English Language in the Hong Kong Certificate of Education Examination ("Grade E" in Chinese and English Language (Syllabus B) in HKCEE held before 2007 are accepted administratively as comparable to Level 2 in Chinese Language and English Language") or equivalent; and
- Well versed in the application of Microsoft WORD, EXCEL, POWERPOINT; and
- With positive working attitude and services-oriented mindset.
- Immediate available is highly preferred.
- Applicant with relevant experience is preferred.
- $18,000 - $23,000 per month subject to meeting minimum requirements and assessment of working experience and nature of previous employment
