Job Description

Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for the establishment, implementation and maintenance of the quality system
  • Ensure effective operation of the quality system is the responsibility of all personnel employed and it is fundamental to the success of the project
  • Prepare and review Project Quality Plan and Procedures with input provided by the project team members
  • Review and endorse quality system documents including operating procedures, project procedures and inspection
  • Implement and monitor quality system to ensure compliance, where non­conformity identified, to ensure corrective actions are follow up/ closed out
  • Monitor progress and effectiveness of QA/QC activities throughout the project life cycle
  • Provide QA training to project teams and conduct quality audit in project management of works
  • Carry out internal audit to meet ISO9001 standard
  • Carry out and support internal and external QA audits, review audit findings and make recommendations for improvement, where non­conformity identified, to ensure corrective actions are follow up/ closed out

Qualifications & Experience required:

  • Degree in Civil / Mechanical / Electrical Engineering or related disciplines
  • At least 6 years' relevant experience in multi-disciplinary environment
  • Proven practical experience in project quality management
  • Knowledge in safety, quality and standards such as ISO45001, ISO9001, safety-related legislation, risk management, occupational safety and health management methodologies and tools
  • Knowledge in quality improvement techniques / tools
  • Qualified ISO9001 Internal Auditor, ISO9001 IRCA Lead Auditor is an advantage
  • Good team player, strong self-motivated, independent and able to work under pressure
  • Proficiency in computer skills including MS Office applications, SharePoint and project management software tools
  • Strong interpersonal, communication and report writing skills with proficiency in both written and spoken English
