Dragages Hong Kong Limited invites applicants for the following post to work full time. He / She may work in either i) the offices of Architectural Services Department; and /or ii) on Site.

About the Role: 

• A Structural Engineer is mainly deployed on designing and supervising the construction of structural framework, foundation, piling and site formation works for Government building projects and advising on maintenance to the structures of existing Government buildings; checking structural submissions prepared by consultants and carrying out project management duties as required.

To be successful in this role, you must have: 

• Be Corporate Members of the Hong Kong Institution of Engineers (Structural or Civil Discipline) elected after 5 December 1975, or equivalent (Note: For holders of qualifications in the Civil Discipline, experience in structural engineering design and practice is required.) [See Note (A)]; and

• Have met the language proficiency requirements of Level 2 or above in Chinese Language and English Language in the Hong Kong Diploma of Secondary Education Examination (HKDSEE) or the Hong Kong Certificate of Education Examination (HKCEE), or equivalent. [See Notes (B) & (C)

• Candidates should clearly specify the discipline of their corporate membership and give a detailed account of their qualifications and experience in their applications, enclosing copies of supporting documents.
• Grade E in Chinese Language and English Language (Syllabus B) in the HKCEE before 2007 are accepted administratively as comparable to Level 2 in Chinese Language and English Language in the 2007 HKCEE and henceforth.
• Candidates should obtain all the above-mentioned entry requirements on or before the closing date for application.
