My client is one of the famous firms in Hong Kong. Now they would like to invite an all-rounded project management manager to join their team
about the job.
- Oversee, monitor and assist, where necessary, the Property team with all planning, negotiations and submissions of statutory documentation.
- Coordinate with Government Authorities, consultants, suppliers, main contractors, subcontractors and internal departments
- Review construction plans to ensure compliance with the specifications for the delivery of the next phase.
- Monitor the site progress to ensure the works and materials are in compliance with the relevant Code of Practice/Standards in China and the method statement from the main/subcontractors. The ability to solve problems independently and provide their opinion on specific items will be required.
- Review and monitor the tenderers' documents are in compliance with the tender specifications.
- Review and audit the submissions from design consultants and the main/subcontractors including tenders, drawings, materials and program. And provide solutions to the main actors concerned to achieve the cost, quality and deadline objectives.
- Project management/governance experience in delivering projects on time and within budget, whilst meeting operational objectives.
skills & experiences required.
- Degree with relevant professional qualification(s) in Civil/Structural Engineering, Architecture, Building Services Engineering, or equivalents.
- Over 12 years of relevant professional engineering experience across the full project lifecycle (concept, preliminary, detailed design, construction, handover, defects, operation) in the PRC
- Prior work experience as a Registered Architect or at a Local Design Institute or Government Authority / Bureau is an advantage
