Responsibilities :

• Review tender and contract documents, and prepare reports, analyses, risk assessment, tender, contracts, subcontract and other documents, and seek management approval
• Monitor and ensure proper internal process flows for tender, contract and subcontract
• Commercial vetting of subcontractor, tenders and contracts, and liaising with site managers, clients, contractors, and subcontractors
• Establishing and maintaining professional relationships with external and internal
• Negotiate contract terms and exclusion in pre and post contract period
• Advising a procurement and management on improvements and new strategie
• Documenting any change in design and quantity of installation works
• Monitor and keep track of project measurement and valuation of interim payments and variations during contract period, and prepare and negotiate final account
• Analyses outcomes and write detailed progress reports, value completed work, oversee bills, arrange payments and provide advice on contractual claims and disputes
• Report to and review with management forecasting of final cost, contract value and collection.
• Perform risk, value management and cost control during construction and identify, analyse and develop responses to commercial risks
• Provide advice to project team on commercial and contract matters including reviewing and drafting correspondence
• Supply relevant information and assist where needed by management as required from time to time
• Able to work in an individual and a team based environment with internal staffs and subcontractors
• Traveling from office to various sites and other office as required
• Observe the environmental, health and safety policy and regulation

• QS Qualification to Diploma level
• At least two to three years in similar fields and reporting to management
• Commercially astute, numerate, risk adverse & able to accurately forecast cost & revenue
• Multi tasking, self-motivated, energetic team player with a flexible and adaptable approach to work
• Knowledge in IT and Extra Low Voltage system
• Good English and Chinese both in written and communication
• Independent and experience in correspondence and engineering report preparation
• Candidates with less experience may be considered as Quantity Surveyor Trainee
