Responsibilities:

• Implement Group procurement strategies, policies and related procedures.
• Monitor, measure and review supplier performance and maintain good relationship with vendors.
• Broaden selection of vendors and develop relationship with strategic vendors.
• Communicate and negotiate with suppliers and responsible for benchmarking exercise.
• Work in a team to address internal needs in purchases and inventory management, through understanding of business direction processes.
• Provide data analysis and statistics to Group and departments for procurement decision.
• Explore system automation of order and tender; Work with IT.
• Manage the preparation and issue of RFQ, tender documents and associated processes, including evaluation, negotiation and award of corresponding contracts.
• Ad-hoc tasks assigned from Supervisor.

Requirements:

• Higher diploma holder or above in Supply Chain, Business Management or Engineering subjects.
• At least 3 years of relevant experience with 1 year in management level of strategic contracting and procurement, preferable in construction and engineering industry.
• Familiar with electrical and mechanical components and supplier sourcing.
• Strong capability in establishing procedures, standards and guidelines.
• Good knowledge in the latest procurement trends, systems, best practice and technology.
• Being familiar with the use of Dynamic AX or other ERP system would be an advantage.
• An effective facilitator in procurement teams to drive teamwork and deliver outcomes.
• Proficient in MS Office and Chinese word processing.
• Good command in both written and spoken English and Chinese.
