AECOM has an immediate requirement for an Assistant Resident Engineer to work on a large multi-disciplinary private building project at the Hong Kong International Airport. The proposed works include structural works, architectural building works, building services works, construction of CLP 132kV substation, external paving and landscaping works, etc.

The construction works have commenced since 2020 and anticipated to be completed around mid 2023.

The successful applicant would be offered a 12-month contract initially and subject to renewal depending on the project’s ongoing needs.
 
Responsibilities:

• Assist the Resident Engineer on project management and contract administration works
• Site supervision including quality assurance, quality control and site safety supervision
• Answer technical queries and supplying further information;
• Check Contractor's submissions;
• Liaise with various government departments and utility companies;
• Coordination with the client, design engineer and contractor for the completion of the works
• Deal with any other duties as may be assigned from time to time by the superior.
  

Requirements:

• Degree holder in Civil, Structural or Geotechnical Engineering or equivalent in Civil, Structural or Geotechnical Engineering
• Minimum 2 years relevant site supervision and administration experience in Civil, Structural or Geotechnical engineering works
