• Participate in mock-up preparation, product engineering and manufacturing follow-up on licensed products
• On-site coordination with factories to ensure product quality and timely completion of projects

Responsibilities

• Communicate with R&D team on concept-proofing and assistance in mock-up/ resin preparation by rapid prototyping
• Product engineering including but not limited to parts/ component design, consider alterations at pre-production stage such as draft angle, parting lines, wall thickness, screw bosses and reinforcements and relevant major issues to accommodate manufacturing and aesthetics with the aid of CAD software
• Liaise with factories on production budgets, provide technical support and procedures to reduce manufacturing costs, improved quality levels and production efficiencies when identified
• Conduct on-site meetings with factories and work closely with them to ensure they follow the aligned manufacturing procedures according to quality required

Qualifications

• At least 3 years manufacturing engineering experience in licensed consumer products, preferably toys/ action figures, plastic models or products with complex structures/ assemblies
• Proficient in Solid modeling software, e.g. Solidworks
• Good knowledge in Structural design, manufacturing and tooling processes of plastic products
• Hands-on skills in prototype/ mock-up building is required
• Frequent travel to mainland China
• High diploma/ Degree holder in Mechanical / Manufacture/ Industrial Engineering
• Good command of spoken & written English & Mandarin
• Software skill such as Z-Brush/ Photoshop/ Illustrator is an advantage
• Passionate in sci-fi robot animations, action figures, models, collectables is required
• Able to work both independently and within a team environment
• Self-discipline is a must
• Have an open mind and willing to learn and be trained
• Work location: Fo Tan
