Your Mission

• As a part of the global material team, act as the GO TO from Material Center for internal and external partners
• Vendor management (initiate new T2, portfolio, onboarding & KPI), including engage and evaluate of each T2 technical capabilities and sustainability certification
• As the lead for cross BU new material standardization with the branch and ensure align with testing requirement globally. Proactive provide status and solutions if any challenges arise
• The Guru of testing manual management including competitors' bench marking, research of market intelligence in this subject matter
• Responsible for RSL assessment with T2 and ensure puma standard can be achieved. Continue working with T2 to provide solutions if any challenges
• Participate on negotiation with T2 on cross BU core fabric to contribute in the brand margin
• Handle technical issues proactively; be a proactive problem-solver to provide solutions between Business Units/T2 when issues arise as well as preventing and minimizing the problems
• Trend & newness collection - be part of the early process with the brand creative direction milestone
• Engage and participate in any ad hoc, special project, new set up involve with material center function
• Travel is required

Your Talent

• High Diploma or above with emphasis on clothing/material technology and/or manufacturing; textile engineering or textile commercial background
• Minimum 8-10 years with solid experience in fabric technical, exposure in knit, woven, seamless and synthetic is a plus
• Strong and comprehensive knowledge of textile production, fabric construction, functional performance properties, fiber and yarn dyeing, all over printing and panel printing techniques and finishing processes
• Strong communication skills in English (both spoken and written)
• Effective and inspiring leaders
• In-depth understanding of the material supply chain
• Strong numerical and analytical skills
