Job Description

Due to significant business growth, we are currently seeking a PACKAGING COORDINATOR to join our dynamic team in our Hong Kong Office.

Role Overview

This position will be responsible for monitoring and coordinating the packaging development of our cookware brands for the US or APAC market. The ideal candidate will have 2 - 3 years of experience (or the relevant transferable skills) and have the communication skills needed to effectively coordinate with internal and external stakeholders to help organise packaging and related graphics and imagery.

Responsibilities:

  • Monitor order placements with factory to coordinate packaging development specific for US / APAC customers.
  • Compile relevant die cuts, imagery, graphic materials, product information and communicate with graphic designers for packaging arrangement.
  • Proof-read related materials for accuracy and ensure proper die-cuts are provided in relation to item type and size.
  • Manage allocation of artwork task to corresponding Graphics colleagues.
  • Liaise with internal & external stakeholders for information required to arrange packaging and follow up for customer approvals if needed.
  • Communicate accurate deadlines to related parties and follow-up to ensure all materials are provided in adherence with timelines.
  • Update and maintain internal documents to ensure procedure is followed.
  • Assisting with AD-Hoc requests of simple PDF / file editing.
  • Understand and compile related substantiation for FSC certifications, and ensure / track proper approvals are provided by related parties.
Main requirements:
  • Work experience: Minimum 2 – 3 years.
  • Qualification: Degree holder
  • Basic Knowledge of Adobe Creative Cloud (familiarity with Photoshop, Illustrator, etc.)
  • Detail orientated, multi-tasker, well organised, self-motivated and good communication skills.
  • Cantonese speaker, with excellent command of English. Mandarin is beneficial.
  • Good knowledge of Microsoft Office (in particular Excel) and Outlook.
  • Experience in ERP systems is a bonus.
  • Start date: ASAP
