Responsibilities: 

• Coordinate product development process (bags or shoes) from design concept to pre-production stage;
• Research and analyze trends for development of new season collections and provide market analysis periodically;
• Create design drawings and presentations, technical and detailed spec sheets for sampling;
• Liaise with merchandising team on all development and production issues;
• Prepare graphic / pattern designs for the seasonal development.

Requirements: 

• Degree or non-degree tertiary education, preferably in Product Design, Fashion Design or an Art related subject;
• At least 5 years or above working experience of relevant experience in fashion handbag or shoes design, more experience will be considered as assistant design manager;
• Candidate with both Ladies handbags and shoes experience is preferable;
• Experience gained from graphic design preferable but this is not compulsory;
• Work independently and able to meet tight schedule in a fast-paced retail environment;
• Strong sense for design, color, material & fashion with strong understanding of trends;
• Proficiency in design and graphics design software such as Mac, Photoshop, Adobe Illustrator, etc.;
• Can work under pressure with tight deadlines;
• Good team player, strong interpersonal, planning and organization skills to multi-task;
• Self-motivated, initiative, detail- minded;
• Good command in both written and spoken English and Chinese (Cantonese and Putonghua);
• Occasional travel to China and overseas is required.
