Job Description
Lidl Asia are hiring a Product Developer to further expand our Consumer Electronics team. The role will contribute to the continued introduction and development of new products and ranges and the continuous improvement of existing ones.
- Conduct research regarding new relevant technologies and products
- Understand technical requirements and specifications to be applied into product development
- Collaborate with merchandising and sourcing teams and factories, regarding technical & engineering aspects of product development
- Coordinate daily development with teams in China, HK and EU Headquarter
- Provide support to ad hoc assignment when necessary
- Higher Diploma or above
- 3 years experience in either merchandising or product development
- Good sense of market trends
- Familiar with MS Office, Solidworks (or similar CAD software), Adobe Illustrator and Adobe Photoshop
- Proactive, self motivated and able to work independently
- Able to work together with cross functional teams
- Experience with European companies/markets/designs
- Factory experience/having experience dealing with suppliers
