The Hong Kong Trade Development Council (“HKTDC”), the statutory organisation promoting Hong Kong’s external trade, seeks a dynamic and high caliber candidate to join our Creative Department.

Responsibilities:

• Organize various fashion shows & activities to promote Hong Kong’s fashion industry and fashion design services
• Oversee logistics arrangement for Council’s fashion fairs
• Co-ordinate with different work parties on show productions and presentations
• Plan and co-ordinate photo shoots for events and promotional activities
• Support research and conceptualize of new trends and themes for events and to produce relevant concept mood boards
• Help recruit participants for promotional activities and source collaboration partners
• Contribute ideas and contents for fashion website and marketing campaigns and assist in execution of projects
• Oversee budget of projects

• University degree preferably in fashion design, clothing or related studies with at least five years' working experience in fashion show production. Familiar with stage management and front-of-house operation
• Experience in production of online fashion editorials, fashion PR & marketing a definite advantage
• Passion about local fashion promotion and devoted in exploring new ideas and partners
• Excellent command in written and verbal English and Chinese (including Putonghua)
• Good interpersonal and communication skills
• Organized, detail-minded and able to work independently and under pressure
• Hands-on PC skills, especially in MS Office including Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Chinese Word Processing
