  • You have minimum 2 years’ experience in Search Engine Optimization
  • You have specific knowledge of major search engines (Google, Yahoo!, Bing)
  • You have proven experience of working in media buying agency and focused on SEM
  • You are a strong and effective communicator, a reliable team player
  • You are an organized, self-motivated person with good time management
  • You have experience with Google Analytics, Google Search Console and Google Tag Manager
  • You have experience in designing and generating SEO reports, making sense of data and provide insights to continuously enhance SEO performance
  • You have a thorough understanding of SEO and the correlation between SEO and SEM
  • You have basic meta and body copy writing skills (EN & TC)
  • You have experience in briefing, working with and evaluating external agencies
  • You have technical SEO experience, such as site structure optimization (site speed, code-to-text ratio, alt text etc.)
  • You have onsite SEO experience, such as site content, keyword research and keyword mapping
  • You have Link SEO experience: robots.txt, backlinks, link profile optimization
  • You can read, write and communicate in English and Chinese

WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING DAY TO DAY

  • Provide SEO expertise in both onsite and offsite factors across all digital touch-points
  • Analyze, develop and implement SEO strategies and tactics to the owned digital channels, to increase the visibility on all major organic search players (Google, Yahoo, Bing etc.) in TW and HK market
  • Continuously evaluate opportunities to increase IKEA visibility online by monitoring latest search engine regulations/algorithm, developing timely optimization actions, and involving the relevant functions in
  • Deliver comprehensive insight by regular reporting on SEO performance to be used throughout the business for IKEA HK and IKEA TW
  • Identify key traffic drivers from SEO perspective and conduct recommendations to stakeholders and follow through for implementation on all digital touch-points
  • Define SOPs and elaborate guidelines for content development on digital touch-points that is relevant to SEO and leading optimization projects by working with Web analyst, Web merchandising specialist, content developers, Marketing, CC&I and external vendors
  • Collaborate with Marketing department on SEM to find the best balance between organic and paid search, pro-actively provide feedback and monitor the effect between SEM and SEO to achieve synergy
  • Identify, evaluate and select SEO vendors/tools, when necessary, liaise and collaborate with vendors on a regular basis
  • Define key issues and propose site structure enhancement for SEO by working with Regional Business Analyst and IT
  • Utilize analytics tool to define and review over 30,000 search terms from home furnishing, IKEA brand and store perspective for HK and TW

Based on latest trend and local market needs, developing SEO plan and leading external and internal partners to drive traffic to IKEA HK and TW website/ app both in quantity and quality; providing insights of search behaviors during customer journey and driving the further developments to achieve business growth.
