Job Description

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Digital Director to join as an integral part of our new Luxury Media brand team. You will play an active role in overseeing digital and marketing operations and strategies.  Our ideal candidate is dynamic, growth-oriented, and passionate about luxury brands.   A successful track record in producing high-quality content for digital media outlets and team management experience are both crucial. This is a role for Robb Report, an American, English-language, luxury-lifestyle magazine featuring products, including automobiles, aviation, boating, real estate and watches.  

The Digital Director is expected to keep an eye on luxury brands, products & contents as well as all things happening in the world of luxury, and is the central gatekeeper for breaking news and trends that are of relevance to the brands’ audience. He/she sets the content strategy and goals for the sites’ growth, and is ultimately responsible for the brands’ digital success.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement digital advertising campaigns & marketing strategies to increase brand awareness, website traffic, and sales
  • Run a deadline-driven digital product and maintain overall quality of the brand
  • Manage and lead custom campaigns and liaise with clients during projects
  • Lead pitches for custom campaigns and network for new business opportunities
  • Managing project staff, timelines, and budgets
  • Reviewing and in charge of all digital content such as blogs, social media content, advertisements, and website copy
  • Ensuring the efficiency and optimization of digital ecosystem through SEO, SEM and SMO
  • Supervising and managing all digital activities including websites, e-commerce, and social media
  • Monitoring and interpreting digital analytics
  • Generating and presenting digital marketing reports and analyses for feedback
  • Keeping abreast of the latest consumer and marketing trends and advancements in technology

Requirements:

  • A university degree in Advertising, Marketing, Digital Media or related disciplines
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in advertising, digital media, digital content development etc
  • Proficiency in digital marketing and analytics tools such as Google Analytics, Facebook Business Manager, and Mailchimp
  • Good knowledge of e-commerce and CMS platforms such as WordPress, Shopify, and Squarespace
  • Familiarity with all major social media networks including Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, and YouTube
  • Native English speaker with excellent writing abilities
  • Fluency in spoken and written Chinese is advantageous
  • Excellent editorial instincts and ability to identify newsworthy stories
  • Excellent understanding of digital practices such as SEO, SEM, SMO, and PPC including Google Analytics, Google Trends, and Google Search Console
  • Adaptable, versatile, and the ability to keep up to date with consumer and marketing trends and advancements in technology
  • Strong leadership an d highly organised with excellent time-management skills
  • Experience with SEO tools, incl. Google Analytics, Google Trends, and Google Search Console
