DFS is the world's leading luxury retailer serving the travelers in the world. We are currently seeking an Assistant Manager, Digital Sales & Global Store to join our Digital Sales team, part of the larger Marketing organization in Hong Kong. This position will primarily support rest of world divisions (Japan, Oceania, Mid-Pac etc.) to drive digital sales and operations.
Planning and strategy
- Assist with digital sales calendar planning and ensure successful campaign execution during key sales moments such as golden week, cyber month etc.
- Provide insights and suggestions for promotional campaigns including themes and key brands/products to feature
- Plan and align with digital marketing on traffic plan & membership activation according to key campaigns/festival, with pre-set KPIs
- Assist with sales forecast planning and track weekly and monthly performance
Digital sales execution
- Support manager to execute digital and omni-channel campaigns, driving sales by coordinating with Digital Marketing, Merchandising, Division Ops and other internal teams to achieve business target
- Liaise with merchandising and division teams to align on promotion mechanics and/or secure support for brand/category promotions, GWP giveaways etc.
- Optimize digital platform conversion rate and related metrics
- Ensure smooth end to end customer journey on digital platform e-commerce front end
- Manage external vendor team to execute online content, promotion updates, performance tracking, analysis, and other operational tasks (set coupon, AI pricing, promocode, GWP, promo page etc.)
Business Review
- Assist and/or lead weekly and monthly business review meetings with key stakeholders
- Guide the team on market update or competition report
- Lead external vendor to produce regular and ad-hoc reports for insights
Key Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, E-commerce is preferred
- Strong business acumen with minimum 4 years of solid e-commerce/ omnichannel business and digital savvy
- Know-how of luxury market with proven organization and execution experience
- Project Management: leadership to manage project milestone and key deliverables, agility to adapt into fast-changing digital industry
- Experience in Google Analytics / BI system or other digital analytics software
- Detail-oriented and strong problem-solving ability
- Good organizational skills, energetic self-starter and highly motivated.
- Ability to work in Excellent written and verbal communication skills in both English and Chinese
- Ability to work with a cross-functional team a fast-paced and dynamic environment
- Willingness to travel when required
