Job Description

We are currently seeking a self-motivated, hard-working Amazon Operations Specialist. It is Micro Center’s core promise to take care of our associates and customers which has led to our success over the last 40+ years!

Amazon Operations Specialist

As an Amazon Operations Specialist, you will be responsible for tasks included but not limited to listing optimization, listing creation, keyword research, product research, monitoring and reporting product performance, placing PO’s, forecasting, tracking shipments, and submitting cases and following through with Amazon account managers.

Key Job Responsibilities

  • Monitor closely product category performance to identify areas with opportunity for growth or improvement continuously
  • Key process owner to drive online sales/promotion strategy and execution
  • Active market and competitor research, propose action plan
  • Prioritize strategies and projects to maximize impact and accelerate sales growth
  • Inventory planning and forecasting to meet/exceed sales target
  • Track and maintain record of all FBA shipments, in & out inventory management
  • Manage Amazon product categories, including front-end and back-end listings maintenance, keyword research, listing optimization, images, A+ Content creation, and market analysis
  • Create Amazon promos; PED, Lightning Deals, Coupons, 7-Day Deals
  • Test enhancements to improve conversion rate and increase sales
  • Financial and Inventory Reporting
  • Ensure the successful coordination and launch of new and refreshed products
  • Manage time effectively and independently
  • Contributing to a positive team environment and proactively aids team members with process barriers and projects
  • Maintaining accountability to attendance, productivity, and quality expectations while adapting to the changing requirements of the business

Skills and Qualifications

  • Strong interest and passion on online business, particularly in electronic/consumer products (proven track record definitely is an advantage)
  • 2 + years of experience with Amazon Operations
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Detail oriented, highly organized, proactive, able to work independently while also contributing to team effort
  • Meticulous attention to detail
  • Customer Service experience – deliver best-in-class services & products
  • Eager to drive & deliver values to our customers & company
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel and advanced level Excel formulas
