Job Description

As a Senior Digital Marketing Specialist, you will be assisting to manage and coordinate incoming requests from RSOs globally as part of the growing expansion of Digital Marketing capabilities and needs for business growth.

This role is mainly responsible for the production, deployment and evaluation of all our advertising campaigns globally and locally.

You’ll also need to work with different internal cross-functional teams and media agencies, manage the localization and amplification of campaigns to work powerfully in multiple languages.

The role requires strong strategic thinking, being a solid collaborator in a high-level international context and being proactive with a ‘can do’ attitude. You will be reporting to the Manager, Digital Advertising  based in our Hong Kong Headquarters.

Key responsibilities for GP Batteries

  • Plan and manage demand activation campaigns and ad hoc projects from a global perspective to achieve business objectives, then provide a business view of reports
  • Initiating and identifying new advertising opportunities in order to build brand awareness, drive CRM initiative and user acquisition
  • Ensure the digital (media) strategies and approaches are implemented & executed across the markets that meet the digital & brand guidelines
  • Daily monitoring of the regional team’s delivery and performance to ensure smooth execution of the marketing & promotion activities according to the global marketing calendar
  •  Work closely with internal cross-functional teams and external agencies to generate different digital assets and to monitor the external paid media agency is delivered optimally in full for the campaigns to achieve business goals
  • You will need to help develop, refine and keep up-to-date the company’s best practices and digital guidelines while ensuring that these practices and guidelines are being well communicated and followed by all global marketing teams

Education & Experience

  • Bachelor degree in Digital Marketing, Media e-Commerce, Communications or related disciplines
  • 3+ years’ experience in positions with focus in marketing, multi-channel and targeted paid media advertising, business development, project management and analysis. A strong understanding of content marketing is required.
  • Strong knowledge in SEO, SEM, Display, Social Media advertising etc., with experience in managing media budgets across multiple regions.
  • It is required that you have experience working with multicultural markets as you will be collaborating closely with Global teams across Asia and Europe.
  • Strong command of written and spoken in English, Cantonese and Mandarin
  • Experience working with partners/vendors/customers in remote locations and international markets (multiple time zones).
  • Agency or in-house digital marketing teams work experience is preferred; primarily in client servicing or media planning roles with knowledge in search, tracking and analytics
  • Proven track record of delivering demand generation campaign strategies and data-driven marketing growth strategies
  • Highly organized with strong project management skills (Fluency with Asana preferred)
  • Able to work proactively and independently to meet multiple project deadlines
