Job Description
We are looking for someone interested in developing a career in Business Intelligence (BI) to join our Data Team.
You will not only be building data sources and beautiful dashboards on Tableau, but also be participating in the full cycle of BI implementation. This ranges from data warehousing, dashboard building, server administration to engage with end users.
Implement your own ideas to encourage users to adopt a more data-driven approach.
HOW will you perform in the position?
- Be an influencer to help company to adopt a more data-driven approach
- Be an advocate to democratize data and make data more easily accessible
- Be a strategic partner to increase the transparency of data in the company
- Design, build and maintain reports and dashboards on Tableau
- Build and maintain datasources on Tableau with various connections (eg mySQL, BigQuery, Google Analytics)
- Develop python-based ETL pipelines on Cloud (eg Airflow, BigQuery)
- Optimize the performance of our Tableau Server (hosted on AWS)
- Engage with internal users proactively to understand business needs and empower them towards data discovery
- Prepare materials and provide internal trainings to promote the use of Tableau
Requirements:
- Degree in Information Technology, Business, Information Systems, Computer Science or related disciplines (Fresh Grads are welcome)
- 1-2 years of experience in Python. Fresh graduates with project experience are also welcome.
- Proficiency in SQL
- Basic understanding and strong interest in BI Tools (eg. PowerBI, Tableau)
- Prior experience in Tableau not required but will be a plus
- Self-motivated, and ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Proficiency in Cantonese

- Digital analytics tools (e.g. Google Analytics, Facebook Business Insights)
- Support for learning (Opportunities to attend workshops during working hours, allowance for self-learning, and a team to learn together)
