About Teach Unlimited Foundation (TUF)

We are a non-profit and mission-driven organization in Hong Kong (registered tax-exempt charity No. 91/11375) founded in April 2011.  We strive to impact the personal development of socially and financially disadvantaged students through a professional and interactive mentoring approach that is school-based and evidence-based.

Our unique proposition is school-based youth mentorship.  We collaborate with schools operating in the poorest districts in Hong Kong to provide school-based, customized support to students by means of mentorship and additional learning support systems, with the distinct focus on improving learning attitudes and motivation, and building healthy self-esteem.  Our mission is to model an effective way on mentorship and promote its integration into youth education in Hong Kong. 

Job Overview

Reporting to the Executive Director, we are looking for an enthusiastic individual who has experience in program management, relationship building, corporate partners acquisition and retention, writing successful funding bids and managing a portfolio of donors.   You will play a vital role in overseeing the corporate volunteering programs to widen our students’ exposure.  Working collaboratively across the teams, you will create annual development and fundraising plans with measurable objectives, and to establish a strong and diversified base of funding support with a systematic engagement plan, build strong relationships with donors, which ultimately leads to increased and/or recurring giving, securing resources to support our vision and mission.

Major accountabilities:

Planning, Execution & Stakeholder Engagement

• Develop, schedule and execute strategically aligned and impactful programs with long-term volunteer engagement as a central component.
• Expand and diversify the network of current corporate partners, whilst strengthening the current relationships.
• Ensure that all programme stakeholders operate in a highly professional manner exemplifying TUF mission, guidelines and standards.

Monitoring and Evaluation

• Prepare timely and high-quality programme reports for donors and internal reports.
• Ensure TUF’s programs monitoring & evaluation processes comply with TUF’s policies and adhere to donor policies and reporting requirements.
• Evaluate the effectiveness of programs to identify areas of enhancement for ongoing development and continuous improvement.

Resource Development

• Drive sustainable, diverse, and multi-year revenue generation through strategic partnerships and innovative fundraising initiatives.
• Develop, track and report on a healthy pipeline of grants.
• Work collaboratively with other teams to ensure all donors proposals are mission aligned and programme deliverables and donor reporting are always on track.

 Requirements

• A passion for TUF’s vision and a strong commitment to teamwork and partnerships, personal growth and people development.
• Bachelor’s degree or above.
• Minimum of 4-5 years of experience in partnership development, fundraising, stakeholder engagement, program management. For the assistant manager position, 3 years of experience is required. 
• Communicate effectively and build good relationships with multiple stakeholders such as school leadership & teachers, donors, volunteers from corporate partners.
• Plan and work in a systematic and organized way, with strong commitment to inspire, enlist and support corporate volunteers in serving the target students through our programs.
• Entrepreneurial spirit, creativity and openness to new ideas and feedback.
• Meticulous attention to details and quality.
• Excellent command of written and spoken English and Chinese (Cantonese)
• Proficiency in computer skills including Microsoft Office, ZOOM, and virtual teams.

Teach Unlimited Foundation (TUF) is a non-profit organization founded in April 2011 by a group of local parents concerned about the quality of education for socially disadvantaged students in Hong Kong.

TUF aims to provide full-time, customized support to these students by means of well-structured mentorship and additional learning support systems in schools, delivered through selected high-caliber university graduates trained and coached by TUF.

TUF is a registered tax-exempt charity under Section 88 of the Inland Revenue Ordinance (Cap 112) in Hong Kong. We are a charity listed on WiseGiving and have been awarded the Caring Organization Logo by the Hong Kong Council of Social Service since 2015.
