Duties & Responsibilities

• Design and implement smart-campus related IT projects
• Conduct solutions research on innovative technology and derive technology roadmap to support the school’s strategic growth;
• Evaluate and implement Digital Marketing strategies to improve school presence and students enrolment using various platforms such as school website, email, school blog, social media, etc.
• Communicate with internal staff and all school faculty to understand their requirements and implement digital solutions, workflow automation and integration to fulfil their needs;
• Liaise with vendors; obtain quotations for the provision of IT solutions; scheduling with IT vendors; working with IT vendors; verifying quality of work from IT vendors; acceptance of work provided by IT vendors
• Manage and monitor all installed systems and infrastructures including networking equipment, servers, and peripheral equipment including printers
• Installation, configuration, testing, and maintenance of operating systems, software applications and system management tools
• Handling ENGAGE system (School Information Management System); Maintain staff list, student report maintenance, implement new module/template, Security control, etc.
• Account Creation and Maintenance (Google, Engage)
• Perform system security and backup. Monitor security systems for potential threats and intrusion signs and make sure that security patches are always up to date.
• Provide technical guidance and assistance to the other systems staff as required.
• Respond to operational emergencies (including off-hours calls)
• Perform other comparable IT duties as assigned which are within the area of knowledge and skills required by the job description

Qualification Requirements

• Degree holder in Information Technology, Computer Science or related disciplines
• At least 5 years relevant working experience
• Experience in ENGAGE system
• Experience in digital marketing
• Good command in both written and spoken English
• A broad general technical knowledge; demonstrable ability to research new technology and troubleshooting methods.
• Well-organised, detail-minded, self-motivated with strong sense of responsibility.

Korean International School (KIS) is an international school in Hong Kong that offers a through-train British curriculum, English medium education from Reception to 6th Form for English Speaking Community in Hong Kong. KIS is an active member of the Cambridge International Curriculum Programme which provides us with teaching materials and support for all levels.

KIS’s origin can be traced back to Saturday School, started in 1960 with just 6 students to provide for the needs of Korean community in Hong Kong.
