Responsibilities

• Handle technical drawings

• Analyze cost structure of metal / plastic components, products, and designs 

• Sourcing materials, components and new suppliers whenever necessary

• Prepare internal product quotation based on description and sketches for potential projects as well as existing products

• Responsible for cost analysis and vendor analysis

• Provide recommendations on project cost saving

• Preparation of costing reports

• Follow up costing issues with internal engineers / external vendors

• Co-ordinate with both internal and external parties on new project with respect to technical and commercial aspects

• Work with factory management on various cost savings objectives

Requirements

• Diploma or above in Engineering disciplines or equivalent, Fresh Graduates welcome

• Knowledge in plastic injection, metal stamping & forming is preferred

• Knowledge in project development preferred

• Good interpersonal and communication skills

• Strong analytical skills, self-motivated, and result-oriented

• Fluent in spoken and written English and Mandarin

• Proficiency in engineering software (CAD, 3D rendering), MS Word, Excel and Chinese WP
