Job Responsibilities:

Category Management

• Devise a clear global category strategies to reflect business needs, enable the sourcing/procurement activities of chemicals at the highest value benefit to the company
• Actively monitor internal/external trends, synthesize and distill the business intelligence into actionable opportunities
• Cultivate, enhance, and deepen cross functional stakeholder relationships at all levels serving as the subject matter expert on behalf of the procurement organization

Strategic Sourcing

• Develop, manage and execute strategies for the Chemical category regionally & globally
• Lead negotiations with suppliers on commercial agreements (pricing, rebate, payment terms, etc.) to achieve cost savings, standards terms and ROIC improvements

Supplier Management

• Lead supplier business review process to drive continuous improvement in quality, delivery, technology and cost performance through Supplier Performance Review (SPR) Program
• Early engage with suppliers in risk assessment and mitigation plan for business continuity in order to build a resilient supply chain upstream
• Collaborate with supplier to enhance business and partnering relationship

Contract Management

• Responsible for negotiating and closing various supplier contracts
• Manage contract expiration/renew mechanism to ensure execution continuity

Cost Management

• Apply the process of analyzing the total cost of ownership for Chemical category
• Identify and define internal and external cost drivers, develop cost models and establish “should cost” estimates

Job Requirements:

• BSc / MSc in Strategic Sourcing and Supply Chain Management or Chemical Engineering preferred.  With certification in Supply Chain profession (e.g. CPSM, CSCP, CPIM, CSCMP, CPL, CPCM, etc.) also an advantage
• Min. 8 years of category management and strategic sourcing experience in handling electronic/PCB raw materials in multi-national electronics manufacturing companies; Prior working experience in PCB shops or chemical companies are preferred
• Demonstrate extensive experience in complex pricing & contract negotiations across multiple projects and programs
• Good in supplier relationship management, supplier development, and supplier risk management
• Adept in total cost management, cost modeling and should-cost analysis
• Collaborative mindset with strong team cohesion, strong project management, organizing and analytical skills
• Ability to work well in a high-paced, dynamic environment, handle multiple projects simultaneously, and ensure task completion timely
• Skillful in business and spend analytics and familiar with ERP tools (Oracle, SAP, etc.)
• Proficient with Microsoft Office applications
