Your role

• Leading a team for development, planning & design, provisioning and maintenance of outside plant network, coordinating all road opening ordinance related issues, provisioning of solution design for broadband rollout, resolving issues relating to building access requirements.
• To manage the team to meet company targets.
• To interact with government parties, utility undertakers and internal parties to fulfill stipulated ordinance requirements of road opening activities to secure company benefits.
• To prepare and monitor the OPEX and CAPEX budgets of projects to ensure the network is provided in a cost effective manner.
• To provide technical support for complex technical issues in site access acquisition, installation and maintenance implementation.
• To provide technical and solution design for broadband project rollout in existing buildings.
• To assist Manager in supporting outside plant services activities and team management.
• To implement contractor management support to enhance performance and meet predefined targets.
• To perform analysis and statistics of the quality objectives.
• To manage contractors following the defined working procedures as stipulated in the Quality Management System.
• To monitor and control contractor performance of outside plant services, liaise with internal working partners to deliver smooth and effective service support chain.
• To undertake special projects and work overseas when required.

To succeed in this role

• Degree holder in Engineering or equivalent discipline with 5 years working experiences, or High Cert. with 10 years working experiences in Telecommunications industry. Special consideration will be given to those with sufficient experience recognized by the company but without the required qualification
• Capable of fulfilling and negotiating the project requirements with both internal and external parties
• Customer-oriented, with strong communication, negotiation and presentation skills
• Self-motivated and willing to participate into overseas project assignments when required
• Strong sense of innovative and adaptability to meet with Company’s business need
• Good command of written and spoken English and Chinese
