What you'll do:

• Conduct research and development activities on Intelligent System utilizing Artificial Intelligence techniques including Image Processing, Machine Learning / Deep Learning and Deep Neural Networks, and interfacing with Augmented Reality techniques including motion tracking, anchoring, 3D animation and modelling
• Work closely with team leaders to keep the progress of research and development projects on track to completion, and follow the planned project delivery timeline. Ensure full compliance with projects’ goals and ITF requirements. Prepare proposals, report project progress and issues in a timely manner
• Support and conduct development work, collect and perform data analyze, develop and integrate sensors, perform system modeling and simulation, design system algorithm and implement intelligent control system, design testing platform and prepare acceptance criteria
• Research latest technologies and techniques in Artificial Intelligence and Augmented Reality
• Engage in partnership with industry partners and Universities
• Assist in organizing and delivering promotional activities related to projects such as conferences, workshops, technical seminars … etc.
• Support ad hoc projects and assignments when required
• Occasional travels to Mainland China or overseas may be required

You'll be a good fit if you have/are:

• Bachelor or Master Degree in Electronic & Information Engineering / Mechatronics Engineering / Mechanical Engineering / Computer Science / Computer Engineering / Computational Physics / Computer Graphics / Animation or equivalent from a local university or a well-recognized non-local institution
• Research and development experience in computer science, IoT, wireless communication, big data analytics, augmented reality, virtual reality, user experience, or user interface is advantages
• Experience or knowledge in at least one of the following areas:Strong analytical mind with problem solving skills
  • Hands-on experience on AI models building with open frameworks, e.g., Tensor Flow, Torch, Scikit-learn, Amazon Machine Learning, Microsoft Cognitive Toolkit … etc.
  • Hands-on experience with Python, C#, C++, JavaScript and shell scripting
  • Experience on building mobile applications with 3D engines such as Unity or Unreal … etc.
  • Experience with 3D models building, animation creation, object texturing and graphic rendering with Blender or 3DS Max
  • Experience on building user interface for Augmented Reality or Virtual Reality in Android or IOS environment with AR Core, ARKit, AR Foundation ... etc.
  • Experience with cloud AI applications development on Microsoft Azure, Amazon Web Service, Google Cloud … etc.
• Mature, self-motivated and passionate for research and development
• Good interpersonal, communication & presentation skills
