Central Asia Hub process more that 40% of Express DHL cargoes and is vital for the company in maintaining our high service quality. We are looking for Process / Industrial Engineer to identify, develop and deploy the most efficient work methods, processes, resource structures and facility sizing for operational activity in Central Asia Hub.

Reporting to General Manager, Central Asia Hub, the Process Engineering Manager will need to

• Lead the evaluation of existing work practices and promote the best identified to move the company towards a more standardized, automated and efficient operation
• Develop and maintain CAH productivity & manpower models, establish productivity targets for DHL operations and quantify all identifiable variation
• Ensure that manning and productivity aspects are taken into consideration when for both existing and newly launched projects
• Define process requirement and maintain material flow diagram
• Be primary responsible for CAH handling capacity in both direct & indirect activities, take lead in evaluation and forecasting for developing short term & long term strategies in bridging handing capacity gaps.
• Take lead in major capacity enhancement project from feasibility study, project initialization, internal budgetary approval to set up of deployment team.

Requirements:

To be able to fulfill the above responsibilities effectively, we are looking for candidates with the following skills, qualifications and competencies: 

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, second degree in Business/operation management will be an advantage
• 8-10 years of experience in Engineering, with experience in leading Engineering projects
• Experience in work methods, work rate, measurement and implementation of productivity improvement changes
• Experience in facility sizing, facility planning and capacity management
• Good analytical skills, data processing skills and can demonstrate sound judgment
• Good interpersonal & influencing skills, able to facilitate discussion during workshop or brainstorming session
• Able to work independently
• Proficient in MS Excel, PowerPoint, AutoCAD or equivalent tools
• Be able to communicate effectively with all work levels, both in English & Cantonese
