Job Description

Responsibilities:
  • Responsible for the Building Physics and Air Ventilation Assessment (AVA) projects, manage the project execution, including client management, coordination with internal and external parties, conduct simulations in accordance with relevant standard and requirements, propose design solutions, and conduct relevant planning / statutory submission(s)
  • Make use of practical building physics engineering knowledge to develop sustainable and innovative building designs, and evaluate the designs by applying appropriate building physics analysis
  • Undertake design and analysis on building physics, AVA, microclimate study, sustainable building design, and renewable energy engineering projects
  • Contribute to the development of integrated designs with in-house architectural, MEP and facades teams, specifically in the areas of green and smart designs
Qualifications and Experiences required:
  • Degree in Mechanical, Building Services, Energy Engineering, Architecture or related discipline
  • At least 3 years of relevant industry experience on building physics, AVA, microclimate study, sustainable building design, and renewable energy engineering projects, within a consulting business environment
  • Corporate membership of relevant professional institution(s)
  • Skill on Building Physics analysis, such as Computational Fluid Dynamics (CFD) simulations, Solar and Daylighting analysis, and Thermal Comfort evaluation, experienced with relevant simulation software and workflow
  • Experience on AVA and Microclimate Study reporting and submissions
  • Preferably experience with relevant planning / statutory submission(s) and / or green certifications, such as BEAM Plus, LEED, WELL, CGBL, and BREEAM
  • Able to undertake project and technical analysis and report on results
  • Adaptable and able to work independently coupled with strong interpersonal skills
  • Proficiency in both written and spoken English and Chinese
