Job Description

• Lead capital projects with responsibility of proper specifications, optimal maintenance, and safe operation of utilities equipment;
• Oversee new installations with utility engineering design, specification, and coordination with outside vendors and suppliers;
• Lead facility audits to determine utility conditions, and recommendations utility expansions or renovations;
• Develop budgets for project development. Manages against capital budgets from feasibility through commissioning;
• Serve as a technical resource for the plants, corporate engineering, and Technical Services for all Utility related areas.

 Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Manufacturing or other engineering related fields;
• Minimum of 3 years of progressive experience within the project engineering field; ideal candidate will have managed varying scale projects within the Food Manufacturing area;
• Experience working in Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) plant;
• Previous project experience in one or more of the following technologies and platforms: packaging facilities; conveyors and packaging automation; GMP warehousing; and, automated storage and retrieval warehouse systems;
• Proficient reading building architectural & engineering drawings;
• Strong understanding of mechanical, electrical, and automation systems;
• Proficiency with AutoCAD, MS Project and MS Office suite.
