Job Description
Roles and Responsibilities:
- Responsible for the efficient operation of 3 hotel properties;
- Set up and implement maintenance programs for all major E&M equipment including preventative measures. Ensure all equipment and plants including chiller system, refrigeration, HVAC, security system, plumbing, water treatment, electricity and boiler systems, etc. are in sound operational condition;
- Develop and implement the Policy and Procedure in all related areas consistently;
- Maintain a comprehensive record of equipment maintenance, manuals, logs and procedures;
- Maintain a supply of inventory necessary for optimal operating efficiency;
- Promote energy conservation programs by monitoring utility costs and consumption;
- Monitor the standard of work carried out by outside contractors engaged by the hotel to ensure that it meets the agreed quality in a timely manner;
- Sound resources and cost management;
- Ensure the compliance of all government regulations. All safety and emergency procedures are in place and all safety policies are followed by the team;
- Ability to manage and lead a dynamic team to provide quality services; and
- Perform any assignments and ad hoc projects as required.
Requirements:
- Degree in Building Services Engineering or equivalent with relevant professional qualifications.
- 8 years or above relevant experience in hotel industry with 3 - 5 years in a management capacity.
- Self-motivated, detail- minded, positive attitude, and ability to work independently.
- Strong in leadership with good problem solving and analytical thinking skills.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Good command of both written and spoken English and Chinese.
