Technical Services, Shared Services provides professional repair and maintenance services to Cathay Pacific Airways Limited and its subsidiaries (the ‘Company’), including but not limited to Cathay Pacific Catering Services (H.K.) Limited (‘CPCS’), Cathay Pacific Services Limited (‘CPSL’), Hong Kong Airport Services Limited (‘HAS’) and Vogue Laundry Service Limited (‘VLS’).  

Responsibilities

• Monitor the performance of GSE maintenance contractors to meet company quality and availability standard
• Perform sourcing and goods receipt for the spare parts, materials and services in accordance with the Company’s policy, procedures and requirements
• Communicate with the GSE maintenance contractors on all technical issues relating to rectification, improvement and modification works
• Monitor the repair cost and service progress of the GSE and vehicle fleet
• Provide technical, warranty and parts support
• Conduct quality inspection for the serviced GSE and vehicles by maintenance contractors
• Handle documents, data entry and analytical work
• Perform any ad hoc duties as assigned by the Management

Requirements

• Higher Diploma in Mechanical / Electrical Engineering or related disciplines*
• Minimum 2 years’ relevant working experience in the vehicle / specialized equipment repair and maintenance industry
• Experienced in sourcing spare parts, materials and services
• Knowledge of repair and maintenance scheduling, monitoring and quality control
• Self-motivated, task-driven, responsible and work independently
• Good communication and interpersonal skills
• Good command of spoken and written English and Chinese

* Candidate with lower academic background but with more related experience may also be considered

*Candidate with more experience may be considered as Technical Services Controller
