• Serve as the leader of CT Solutions for 5G and Beyond Systems and applications, focusing on the End-to-End ASTRI-inside solutions, e.g., Easy 5G, enabling applications to stakeholders in HK such as operators, government agencies, airport etc. and SME’s, with the responsibility of driving innovative applications leveraging 5G &Beyond platform + AIoT solutions, promoting initiatives such as Smart City, Reindustrialization & Intelligent Manufacturing, Metaverse etc., with impacts as well as creating commercial grade solutions for ASTRI and ecosystem partners.
• Drive the collaboration with universities to help bridge the gap between academic research and product/service providers.
• Work with HQ’s teams, such as CD, CMO, BOO, CFO and HR, to facilitate cross-team collaboration and enrich our technology portfolio with efficiency and ASTRI branding
• Serve as an interface to key standardization bodies and upstream research channels to assist CT TD leader in formulation technology roadmap
• Serve as a champion for recruiting the next generation of ASTRIANS to establish our long-term sustainability

• PhD in EE with 10+ years of experiences
• Track record in commercializing 4G and 5G solutions in competitive products such as small cell based solutions
• Experiences in leading a development team of 5+ professionals and cross-team collaboration, with ability to work across teams (including algorithm design team, embedded software/firmware design team, protocol stack and MAC/intelligent application team, Core-network team, Mobile and Internet Platform applications team as well as ecosystem partners) of 50+ developers
• Experiences in working with governmental agencies to support new applications of spectrum for newly standardized communications systems such as 4G and 5G, as well as supporting deployment of new services in venues such as Airport
• Experiences in working with university professors and research teams to help train fresh graduates as well as supporting their innovative ideas towards commercialization
• Ability to work synergistically with collaborators inside and outside his/her own team
• Excellent communications ability in English and Putonghua, fluency in Cantonese a plus
• Ability to define and formulate technology roadmap and lead the team to achieve long-term development through well-executed platform projects with significant industry contribution and project income.

The appointment will be on renewable contract terms with a competitive salary and performance-linked variable pay. Fringe benefits include paid leave, medical and dental benefits, insurance coverage and contribution to MPF. The incumbent will normally work a five-day week.
