Senior Procurement Officer

Supply Chain & Management

Responsibilities:

• Support site P2P procurement including Identify the potential products/solutions/services supplier according to Engineers requirements, Contract
• T&C negotiation, carry out & comply to procurement process, negotiate & monitor delivery to meet project schedule, etc.
• Qualify potential supplier in accordance with Supply Chain guidelines
• Deploy different supply chain platforms to achieve cost savings
• Perform cost analysis, price negotiation & make recommendation to management
• Subcontract preparation & negotiation
• Monitor supplier delivery, product quality and take remedial action whenever necessary
• Perform periodical supplier evaluation in accordance with guideline
• Prepare annual budget & periodic forecast on procurement related KPIs
• Prepare & submit all procurement related reports on regular & ad hoc basis
• Identify performance gap & propose remedial action
• Other activities assigned by your direct manager

• Degree in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering or related discipline
• Basic Project management skill
• At least 5 years of post-qualification experience in procurement, costing and contracts administration with working knowledge on project environment
• Analytical, self-initiative and team player with good communication skills
• Working experience in multinational companies would be a plus
• Good knowledge of PC applications such as MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Chinese typing
• Good command of both spoken and written English and Chinese
• Computer skills: MS office, SAP R/3
• Experience with foreign countries; collaboration with international teams; exposure in different work / company cultures
• Immediate available is highly preferred
