Stationed in the Head Office of Guardforce, this position will supervise the Commercial Team of GF Technovation Company Limited, a spin-off from the Business Strategy and Transformation Department of Guardforce Group, to launch, implement and promote the new technology-based services – Gerontechnology, Robotics, Advanced Security Technology, Internet of Things, Smart Cities & miscellaneous up-trend tech business.

Responsibilities:

• To lead and execute projects with minimal supervision
• To develop new product/service ideas, source the right technology/products, create service prototype, liaise with internal stakeholders for testing and collaborate external stakeholders for promotion
• To proactively promote to external parties for the launch of new services/businesses
• To prepare business plans for new business development initiatives (i.e. new businesses or services)
• To prepare action plans for identified business development opportunities and follow-up with various stakeholders for actions identified
• To build strong relationships internally and externally, coordinating with various stakeholders for the projects concerned
• To produce and conduct power point presentations
• To schedule with prospective/existing business partners for business meetings

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s Degree holder in Economics / Entrepreneurship / Marketing or other related discipline of Social Science; Master’s Degree in any discipline is also preferred
• Experience in project management and development of new services or businesses - Sales experience could be an advantage
• Minimum 8 years of work experience, past experiences in client-facing and/or dealing with technology is an advantage
• Have strong business acumen with excellent planning and analytical skills
• Passionate about learning, creating new services from scratch and developing execution plan
• Proactive and possess can do attitude; can work independently
• Good presentation, interpersonal and communication skills (written and verbal)
• Proficient in MS office applications such as Word, Excel and PowerPoint
• Less experience candidate will be considered for the role of Senior Officer, Commercial
