Job Description
The Role
- Planning, design, flow analysis and cost estimation of distribution gas projects
- Tender preparation and contract administration/implementation
- Conduct site measurement and site supervision on contractors for underground gas pipe laying work
- Supervise PE pipe jointing and trench excavation
- Coordinate and attend site meeting
- Liaise with government authorities, District Councilors, developers and main contractors.
- Ensure the quality of work and completion of projects in a cost-effective and timely manner.
- Required to report duty at any office or workplace.
- Site work and night work duty are required.
The Person
- Degree in Civil / Mechanical Engineering or relevant disciplines
- 1-2 year’s relevant experience in engineering field, those who are more experienced will be considered as Engineer
- Fresh graduates with good attitude would also be considered
- Site supervisory experience in roadwork or underground water pipe/ drainage laying or public utility installation work is preferred
- A team player, analytical mind, self-motivated and able to work under pressure
- Willing to work at sites and office; occasional work in non-office hour for on-site projects is required
- Valid Class 1& 2 driving license
- Good command of spoken and written English and Chinese
