Job Description

We are looking for a high calibre Operational Technology (OT) professional at Team Leader’s level to join the Asset Utilisation Branch of Asset Management Department. The appointee will report to Manager – Asset Utilisation and lead a technical team to formulate, implement and review operation, maintenance and management plans for OT systems. The appointee will be considered as a subject matter expert in OT systems, including the securing of such systems and other major OT technologies. He/she will be responsible for ensuring the OT systems are installed, operated and maintained in a way that results in a robust, cost effective and secure arrangement.
Major duties would include:
  • Formulate and maintain short to long-term Vulnerability Management plans and monitor implementation and remediation progress

  • Review and prepare engineering / system documents including system design, work schedule, installation plan, test and commissioning plan, wiring record, as-built drawing, system handover document, operation and maintenance procedure, system migration plan, Safe Systems of Work (SSOW), etc.
  • Provide technical expertise in establishing working guidelines, to ensure the quality and security of critical infrastructure services
  • Coordinate with CLP Group Security on cybersecurity assessments, Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) negotiations, and solution development
  • Direct and perform operation and maintenance (O&M) of the OT systems
  • Supervise and ensure staff / contractor workers fully comply with the Company's Health, Safety, Security, Environment and Quality (HSSEQ), technical and statutory requirements and drive for continuous improvement
  • Perform duties during adverse weather conditions and non – office hours, and any other duties including standby duties, management reports compilation assigned by supervisors as and when required 
Requirements:
  • A recognized university degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Computer / Telecommunications / Electronics / Electrical Engineering or related disciplines

  • A minimum of 5 years’ relevant experience
  • Professional credentials in system administration of OT installations, e.g. Microsoft certifications, major vendor certifications, CISSP and CISA would be an advantage
  • Solid hands-on experience in operating and managing (1) OT systems and components, e.g. SCADA systems, Programmable Logic Controllers, cloud related solution and platform, Industry 4.0 technology, Internet of Things, Industrial Controllers, Sensors, embedded systems network switches and routers; and (2) Security domain including Firewall, Network Admission Control, IP Address Management, Vulnerability Management, cloud migration, etc. would be highly preferable
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills, as well as influencing and leadership skills
  • Good at facilitation, vendor management, project management, change management and relationship management
  • Good safety and environmental awareness
  • Ability to work under pressure and be rational and decisive under all situations
  • Independent, result-oriented, and self-motivated
  • A valid Driving License class 1 would be an advantage
