Hong Kong Disneyland is now hiring Intern for Design & Show Quality Team. This is an amazing opportunity to work side-by-side with industry leaders in your field of study. Job Summary:
- The show programming intern is a member of the technical show quality team and works very closely with Parks & Resorts Facility Services Cast Members to maintain the highest quality of animation throughout the resort. In additional to a high degree of programming skills, the show programming intern also has a creative eye for proper animation, a good knowledge of the Disney brand, and the capacity to work independently as well as in a team environment.
- From this internship experience the intern will gain theme park working experience, understand Disney show quality requirement, know basic show controls, get hands-on experiences in Disney animatronics figures Test & Adjust
Responsibilities:
- Support field engineers in figure programming, show controls
- Post turn-over support and trouble shooting as necessary.
- Support project handover and trainings.
- Reviews animation and special effects, prepare review document.
- Support figure finishing reviews as necessary.
- Participate Central Shop figure rehab and Special Effects Buy-Off.
Basic Qualifications:
- Students with Engineering background, eg, controls, automation, electrical, mechanical, software, IT communication or similar
- Basic knowledge in mechanical assembly, structure design and fatigue analysis.
- Hands on experiences in controls or programming.
- Preferred experiences in Benchoff and Navigator.
- Previous experiences in robotics would be a bonus.
- Accept overnight shift
- Good communications skills in Chinese and English, independent energetic, strong team-players and passionate about Disney
- 6 months to 1 year contract
