Department: Transmission Planning

• Responsible for the field investigation of the cable transmission project
• User department demand collection, network status analysis
• Equipment or fiber network design and planning for Aggregate ring and Access network, including technology evaluation, equipment vendor and carrier selection, new network implementation
• User department demand response and the associated transmission network planning
• Expand and consolidate existing Aggregate and Access networks to meet business demand growth as well as enhancement of these networks
• Responsible for project planning and monitor the project progress

Transmission Design and Support  Responsibilities:

• Interface with the customer for operations issues(pre-sales support, service enquiry，service delivery, after-sales support)
• Responsible for transmission design and communicate with internal party for reporing the project progress
• Arrange project kick-off and regular meeting
• Keep tracking project status, liaison with internal/external parties to ensure work is neither overlooked nor duplicated Assist in project execution to facilitate smooth and on time service delivery
• Prepare project report

Requirements:

• Bachelor Degree in Engineering / Business Administration or related disciplines
• Minimum 3 years relevant experience in Telecommunicationss or Quality Assurance is preferrable
• Good command of English, Chinese and Putonghua
• Skilled in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Powerpoint, Outlook)
• Strong sense of responsibility
• Self-motivated with strong problem solving skills
• Immediate availability is preferred
• Candidate with less experience will be considered as Assistant Project  Engineer
