Mechanical Engineer for Medical & Healthcare Products

Participant in Manufacture Transfer Process of Product

• Responsible for mechanical design, material selection, engineering prototype bring up, develop documentation, and functional test plans to ensure high product quality
• Design, analyze, validate, and characterize mechanical designs, determines their performance characteristic and documentation
• Provide engineer support on design for reliability such as DFMEA, Design Margin and Reliability test
• Collaborate with the cross-functioning team such as software, firmware, product, marketing, document control, and program management
• Collaborate with factory during development phase for DFM reviews, releasing product specification, mechanical BOM and drawings, assembly instructions, and prototype or engineering build support
• Collaborate with lab for getting type approval for different products

Job Requirements:

• BS Degree in Mechanical Engineering, or related discipliones
• 5 years + experience in:
  - Experience in device design & development is highly preferred
  - Experiences in design of metal and plastic parts
  - Familiar with different manufacturing processes (e.g. sheet metal, injection molding.,etc.)
  - Familiar with Ingress Protections, IP designs
  - Familiar with CAD software, Solidworks is a must
• Good command of written and spoken English and Chinese (Cantonese / Mandarin)
• Strong team player with a good sense of reponsibility, accountability and independence
