Job Description

Place of Duty: CTA(A) shall work in Hong Kong Housing Authority Headquarters or any Hong Kong Housing Authority Construction Site Office as directed.
Duties: The CTA(A) is responsible to the Contract Manager (CM) or CM's Representatives and /or other personnel as appointed by the CM for the following duties:
  1. To prepare, check and update working drawings, submission drawings, presentation drawings, survey plans and schedules;
  2. To update drainage disposal plans;
  3. To check shop drawings and as-fitted drawings submitted by contractor, suppliers and utility companies;
  4. To co-ordinate architectural, building services, structural, site formation, drainage, geotechnical and other drawings as necessary;
  5. To liaise with professionals, technical officers and site staff of the Housing Department and contractor’s representatives where appropriate, on matters related to the project;
  6. To assist in the research of architectural/ building materials for use in the contract and where applicable, their costs and programme charts;
  7. To prepare, update record drawings and programme charts;
  8. To compute site, plot ratio, etc.;
  9. To take on-site measurement and prepare survey drawings;
  10. To be responsible for the issue and receipt of drawings and to maintain a proper record of such;
  11. To construct study models;
  12. To arrange printing of drawings;
  13. To perform other duties as directed by the CM or the CM's Representatives
Qualification/Experience: Applicant shall hold a Diploma or Higher Certificate in Building Studies or Architectural Studies from Hong Kong Polytechnic University or an accepted /equivalent Institute of Vocational Education and with good skill and experience in AutoCAD drafting and preparation of architectural drawings together with good knowledge of Building Regulations and Code of Practices. 
Possession of proficient skill in Photoshop, 3D, BIM modelling and PowerPoint applications are preferred.
Salary: Monthly Salary will be ranging from HK$22,725 to HK$39,690 (depending on related working experience).
Office Hours: The normal office hours are either from (i) 08:30 to 17:18 or (ii) 08:57 to 17:45, Monday to Friday. The office hours may be changed as when required to suit site programme and /or Housing Department’s requirement. The CTA (A) will be required to work extra hours on weekdays, Saturday, Sunday when instructed.
Period of Employment: CTA (A) will be employed by contract term.
