Job Responsibilities

• Participate in the pre-opening phase, including purchasing and management of operating equipment, staff recruiting and training, menu planning, inventory and stock purchasing, POS set up and management, setting of standard operation procedures etc.
• Oversee and actively participate in daily operations, including control of food, beverage, cigar and service quality, budget preparation, recruitment and training, inventory control, liaison with suppliers and contractors etc.
• Work closely with kitchen and marketing team on menu planning, beverage lists, promotions and budget control
• Customer service including customization of menu and the promotion of sales & marketing strategies to strive for guest satisfaction beyond their expectations
• Ensure smooth operations and service and strive for guest satisfaction beyond their expectations
• Development and management of both private and corporate events
• Business development and introduce potential new members to the club
• Ensure high standards of hygiene and safety
• Directly report to the Management to identify and analyse operational issues and provide advice and recommendation to management on enhancing overall operational efficiency and effectiveness

Job Requirements

• 5 to 7 years’ relevant work experience, of which 3 years at managerial level
• Fluent written and spoken language skills in English, Cantonese and Mandarin a must
• Comprehensive knowledge on food, wine, bartending, cigars and other beverages
• Strong business acumen and in-depth knowledge of market expectation and trend
• Excellent customer servicing skills and ability to handle guests in a wide range of circumstances
• Positive attitude, strong leadership, managerial and interpersonal skills and ability to motivate team members
• Self-motivated, organised, flexible and able to work in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment
• Eligible to work in Hong Kong
• Experience at private members club a plus
• Opening team experience a plus
• As a member of the management team, this position requires additional levels of commitment that might require additional working hours to fulfil job duties and company objectives, and in such case no overtime compensation and days in lieu will be granted
