Job Description

The Role:
  • Oversee & manage the day-to-day operation of Cooking Centre to the highest standards within budgeted guidelines including but not limited to cooking class quality & experience and customer service
  • Plan & schedule classes & events to maximize TCC utilization and enrollment rates
  • Coordinate with tutors, internal and external parties in planning, designing and executing new cooking class contents and promotion strategies to drive sales & new members
  • Coordinate & organize with IDE in recruitment, communicating with IDE students and monitoring chefs and tutors’ performance
  • Schedule roster for cooking centre staff, manage work duties of full-time & part-time staff
  • Engage in manpower planning, recruitment, developing training & performance management of cooking centre staff
  • Handle customer enquires & complaints
  • Lead and motivate the team to achieve business targets in terms of profitability, service standards, and business development
  • Consolidate and analyze sales and operational reports, i.e. budget, sales and P&L forecast
  • Support & promote flame cooking, the company’s brands & products including but not limited to internal & external media events
  • Design & develop recipes for new cooking classes regularly for customer retention and new customer acquisition 
The Person:
  • Degree in relevant disciplines in Business Management or Operation Management
  • At least 10 years’ solid experience at managerial level in food and beverage industry or culinary educational institution or retail business operation.
  • Successful track record in cooking studio management, F&B, or related professional area
  • Good technical knowledge in related F&B management
  • Culinary knowledge or teaching experience would be of added advantage
  • Strong problem-solving, organizational & planning skills
  • Excellent interpersonal, communication and leadership skills
  • Willing to learn and take up new challenges
  • Ability to multi-task and coordinate activities 
  • Proficiency in PC applications such as MS Excel, MS Word, PowerPoint, etc
  • Good command of both spoken and written English &Chinese; Fluent in Putonghua will be an advantage
